SDGS/USDGS ACS reconstruction activities of all four RNPP Units began by Westron from the implementation of the SDGS ACS at the Unit 1 in 2010. Thus, RNPP successfully operates 14 SDGS/USDGS ACS systems, have been developed and supplied by Westron.

Westron has completed engineering, functional and qualification testing of modernized C70-W Power Supplies. The C70-W Power Supplies of new generation are developed by Westron for replacing of original Case 70 and C70-W Power Supplies of previous series at Temelin NPP (Czech Republic).
The tests have been carried out by experts from Westron, test laboratories in Ukraine, Czech Republic and the USA.
Taking into account the positive test results, Westron has begun manufacturing of the Power Supplies industrial batch.
Delivery of the industrial batch is scheduled in 2021.

The Power Supplies are intended to replace the original Power Supplies of Case 70 series and the C70-W Power Supplies of previous series.
The C70-W Power Supplies have subjected to complete volume of the tests required for the equipment intended for NPP's safety systems: the engineering and functional tests have been conducted at the test beds in Westron; the EMC and stability tests against external influences have been done by the independent laboratories in Kharkov (Ukraine).

Westron has signed a Contract with Westinghouse Electric Company for design, manufacture, testing and delivery of modernized Power Supplies for the Eagle cabinets of Temelin NPP's safety systems.
Delivered devices are the next generation of the Power Supplies intended for replacement of both original project's units and Westron’s modernized Power Supplies of first generation delivered earlier.
According to the Contract, delivery of the Power Supplies is scheduled for 2025.

Westron has modernized the software and hardware complex of the automatic control systems for the standby diesel generator stations (SHC ACS SDGS) of Unit 2 of the Armenian NPP.
During modernization, work was carried out on finishing of SHC ACS SDGS cabinets, installation of modern industrial computers, loading and integration of modified software developed by Westron and their testing as part of SHC ACS SDGS.
The successful tests of the SDGS, conducted by specialists of the Armenian NPP and Westron, confirmed the positive modernization results and the quality of the work performed.
SHC ACS SDGS of Unit 2 of the Armenian NPP have been in operation since 2009.

Westron has signed a contract with Westinghouse for design, manufacture, testing and delivery of remote control cabinets (RCC) based on Vulcan-M hardware and software platform for the project of replacement of the gas-aerosol emission monitoring system through the vent stacks No. 1,2 of Units No. 5, No. 6 and the vent stack of Auxiliary Building No. 3 of Kozloduy NPP (Bulgaria).
In accordance with the contract, delivery of the RCC is scheduled for 2025.

Delivery of equipment for modernization of automatic control systems for the standby diesel generator stations of the Armenian NPP

Westron has supplied to Armenian NPP modern industrial computers for modernization of the software and hardware complex of the automatic control systems for the standby diesel generator stations (ACS SDGS) of Unit 2.
In order to ensure modernization of the ACS SDGS software and hardware complex, Westron performed necessary modifications of software for the industrial computers, and tested it at ACS SDGS operation support testbed at Westron facility.
Activities on modernization of the ACS SDGS software and hardware complex at Unit 2 of Armenian NPP will be carried out by Westron employees during the 2024 outage.
Successful completion of factory acceptance tests of the first part of the new Information and Control System for Unit1, Temelin NPP

On December 1, 2023, in Bulgaria, Sofia, the factory acceptance tests of the first part of the new Information and Control System for Unit 1, Temelin NPP, implemented as part of Westinghouse's project for replacement of the existing WDPF® based I&C systems at Units 1&2 NPP Temelin, were successfully completed.
One of the most important components of the first part of the system - Graphics Displays are implemented by Westron, which is responsible for the design, development, testing and delivery of the Graphics Display software for this project. Despite the difficult times that Ukraine is currently going through, Westron fulfills its contracts efficiently and on time.

In total, more than 300 cards, that have subjected to complete volume of the tests, required for the NPP control systems, were supplied under the Contract.

Recertification audit of the Westron's Quality Management System for compliance with ISO 9001:2015

A recertification audit of the Westron's Quality Management System performed by specialists from TUV AUSTRIA CERT GMBH certification body has been completed. Based on the results of the audit, the compliance of Westron's Quality Management System with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 was confirmed, the validity of the certificate was extended until October 2025.
Westron signed a Contract for works for Temelin NPP

Supply of "Vulkan-RKEB2" equipment for Radiation Monitoring System of SUNPP Unit 2

Westron has supplied "Vulkan-RKEB2" equipment of the Automated Radiation Monitoring System designated for SUNPP Unit 2 to "Automation and Mechanical Engineering" (Division of Energoatom).
The equipment is designed to replace the AKRB-03-based RMS, which is currently in operation at the Power Unit.
"Automation and Mechanical Engineering" organization will make a complete supply of the equipment to the Customer after factory acceptance tests of the Automated Radiation Monitoring System based on "Vulkan-RKEB2" to SUNPP. The factory acceptance tests will be carried out with representatives of the Customer, SNRIU, Westron and Positron.

Westron supplied seismic-resistant stands for mounting of industrial monitors that are part of the control and monitoring systems and located in the main control room (MCR), emergency control room (ECR) and engineering rooms of the Units 5,6 of Kozloduy NPP (Bulgaria).
The monitor stand allows the following adjustments:
• rotation around the monitor mounting axis in the range from -25 to +25 degrees;
• rotation (tilt) around the horizontal axis in the range from -30 to +30 degrees;
• rotation around two vertical axes in the range from -180 to +180 degrees;
• rotation of the entire monitor mount around the vertical axis in the range from 0 to 360 degrees;
• adjustment of the monitor position in height in steps of 25 mm in the range of +/- 50 mm from the nominal height of 1076 mm.
The fasteners used for adjustments allow them to be made manually, without the use of a tool.
The development, manufacture and supply of the stands were carried out by Westron under a contract with Westinghouse Energy Systems LLC - Branch Bulgaria, which is the lead organization for the modernization project for the normal operation systems of the Units 5,6 of Kozloduy NPP.
Westron continues to work for nuclear power plants in Ukraine and foreign countries

Despite the ongoing hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, Westron does not stop working on projects for nuclear power plants in Ukraine and foreign countries. In particular, shipment of equipment for the Kozloduy NPP (Bulgaria) was made, shipments for the Pivdennoukrainsk NPP and the Temelin NPP (Czech Republic) are being prepared.
As a result of the shelling of the city of Kharkiv the production facilities and infrastructure of the enterprise were partially damaged. Currently, work is underway to repair and restore them.
The Westron team continues to work and does everything possible to ensure that the company's obligations to customers are fulfilled.
Contract signed with the Armenian NPP

Westron and the Armenian NPP signed the contract for the upgrading of the software and hardware complex of Diesel Generators Load Sequencer system (SHC DGLS) due to modernization of the emergency core cooling system of the ANPP Unit 2.
The scope of work under the contract also includes the performance of work for extension of the service life of the SHC DGLS, as well as the SHC of the automatic control systems of diesel generators (ACS DG) of the ANPP Unit 2.
The works are planned to be performed during 2021 outage.

The heads of the company acquainted the governor with the research and production base and products of Westron, discussed the problems of the enterprise and its development prospects.

Westron has manufactured, tested and shipped to the Customer the prototypes of new Power Supplies intended for the safety systems reconstruction of Czech Temelin NPP. The Power Supplies were manufactured in accordance with newly concluded Contracts between Westron and Westinghouse Electric Czech Republic.
The Power Supplies have subjected to complete volume of the tests, required for the NPP control system equipment.
The Power Supplies industrial batches delivery is planned to begin this year.
Westron Signed a Contract to Supply Safety Systems Equipment for Temelin NPP (Czech Republic)

Westron has signed a Contract with Westinghouse Electric Company for design, manufacture, testing and delivery of modernized Power Supplies for the Eagle cabinets of Temelin NPP's safety systems.
Delivered devices are the next generation of the Power Supplies intended for replacement of both original project's units and Westron’s modernized Power Supplies of first generation delivered earlier.
According to the Contract, delivery of the Power Supplies is scheduled for 2025.
Westron has modernized the automatic control systems for the standby diesel generator stations of the Armenian NPP

Westron has modernized the software and hardware complex of the automatic control systems for the standby diesel generator stations (SHC ACS SDGS) of Unit 2 of the Armenian NPP.
During modernization, work was carried out on finishing of SHC ACS SDGS cabinets, installation of modern industrial computers, loading and integration of modified software developed by Westron and their testing as part of SHC ACS SDGS.
The successful tests of the SDGS, conducted by specialists of the Armenian NPP and Westron, confirmed the positive modernization results and the quality of the work performed.
SHC ACS SDGS of Unit 2 of the Armenian NPP have been in operation since 2009.

Westron has signed a contract with Westinghouse for design, manufacture, testing and delivery of remote control cabinets (RCC) based on Vulcan-M hardware and software platform for the project of replacement of the gas-aerosol emission monitoring system through the vent stacks No. 1,2 of Units No. 5, No. 6 and the vent stack of Auxiliary Building No. 3 of Kozloduy NPP (Bulgaria).
In accordance with the contract, delivery of the RCC is scheduled for 2025.

Delivery of equipment for modernization of automatic control systems for the standby diesel generator stations of the Armenian NPP

Westron has supplied to Armenian NPP modern industrial computers for modernization of the software and hardware complex of the automatic control systems for the standby diesel generator stations (ACS SDGS) of Unit 2.
In order to ensure modernization of the ACS SDGS software and hardware complex, Westron performed necessary modifications of software for the industrial computers, and tested it at ACS SDGS operation support testbed at Westron facility.
Activities on modernization of the ACS SDGS software and hardware complex at Unit 2 of Armenian NPP will be carried out by Westron employees during the 2024 outage.
Successful completion of factory acceptance tests of the first part of the new Information and Control System for Unit1, Temelin NPP

On December 1, 2023, in Bulgaria, Sofia, the factory acceptance tests of the first part of the new Information and Control System for Unit 1, Temelin NPP, implemented as part of Westinghouse's project for replacement of the existing WDPF® based I&C systems at Units 1&2 NPP Temelin, were successfully completed.
One of the most important components of the first part of the system - Graphics Displays are implemented by Westron, which is responsible for the design, development, testing and delivery of the Graphics Display software for this project. Despite the difficult times that Ukraine is currently going through, Westron fulfills its contracts efficiently and on time.

Recertification audit of the Westron's Quality Management System for compliance with ISO 9001:2015

A recertification audit of the Westron's Quality Management System performed by specialists from TUV AUSTRIA CERT GMBH certification body has been completed. Based on the results of the audit, the compliance of Westron's Quality Management System with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 was confirmed, the validity of the certificate was extended until October 2025.

Supply of "Vulkan-RKEB2" equipment for Radiation Monitoring System of SUNPP Unit 2

Westron has supplied "Vulkan-RKEB2" equipment of the Automated Radiation Monitoring System designated for SUNPP Unit 2 to "Automation and Mechanical Engineering" (Division of Energoatom).
The equipment is designed to replace the AKRB-03-based RMS, which is currently in operation at the Power Unit.
"Automation and Mechanical Engineering" organization will make a complete supply of the equipment to the Customer after factory acceptance tests of the Automated Radiation Monitoring System based on "Vulkan-RKEB2" to SUNPP. The factory acceptance tests will be carried out with representatives of the Customer, SNRIU, Westron and Positron.
